Stoney’s Kindness Fund Stickers

During my sophomore year of high school, my grandpa suddenly passed away from a heart attack. After taking some time to process the loss, my family knew we wanted to create something meaningful to carry on his legacy. Since he wasn’t exactly the scholarly type, we decided against starting a traditional scholarship. Instead, we created Stoney’s Kindness Fund.

A little backstory—my grandpa had a difficult childhood and spent significant time in the foster care system. He could have easily slipped through the cracks, but thanks to a few incredible people who refused to give up on him, his life took a different path. He went on to play four years of football at North Carolina State University, was part of their last ACC Championship team, and later returned to his community to become a teacher and coach, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Stoney’s Kindness Fund was created to support kids facing similar challenges—providing them with the resources, encouragement, and opportunities they need to navigate whatever life throws their way. The fund is currently partnered with Bucyrus High School, his alma mater, and was recently endowed to begin making a real difference in the Bucyrus community.

As a family, our mission is to continue growing the fund, expanding partnerships with schools, and reaching as many young people as possible. I’ve just added stickers featuring the fund’s logo to my website, and 100% of the proceedsfrom each sticker sale will go directly to Stoney’s Kindness Fund.
